Energies, as an Energy service company (ESCO) develops, designs, builds, and arranges financing for projects that save energy, reduce energy costs, save water, reduce water costs, and decrease operations and maintenance costs at our customers’ facilities. In general, we act as project developers for a comprehensive range of energy conservation measures (ECMs) and assume the technical and performance risks associated with a project. We are distinguished from other firms that offer energy-efficiency improvements in that we use the performance-based contracting methodology. When we implement a project, our compensation is directly linked to the actual energy cost savings.
